Holly got evicted by an 8-2 vote which didn’t shock me in the slightest.
I feel like Sharon Is a good person and is a great competitor (known for at least endurance!) but her social skills for the most part are seriously lacking. She started this whole get rid of annie over holly nonsense, but I didn’t feel like she had the talking ammunition to really get things happening.
I, on the other hand, feel like social skills is my strong point and I use them to somewhat mask my challenge defencies. At the end of the day people want to be loyal and show that their word means something to people who they want to be friends with and further communicate with.
And that was the story of this eviction. Holly came on too late while annie started talking to me earlier and I made a lot of movements telling people that that was my vote and that I wasn’t campaigning (which was total bullshit) it was just what I thought was the right move.
Not that im trying to go against Sharon. I think with her skillset she could be such a valuable part of my gameplay and id like to see her do well in competitions.
Memphis, my dingo sub ally, didn’t vote in the eviction which proves to me that he really isn’t paying attention to what is going on in the game. It puts some doubts in my mind but I wont go back on the alliance for the foreseeable future.
The next hoh was announced and I really feel this will be something I do well in! It really is about who is well liked and trustworthy and I see myself as being perceived as such to a lot of people in the house. I hope I can make it on in time cuz I have plans Friday night and hope it doesn’t overlap into this hoh.
Im not desperate to win this hoh just like im not adamant about losing it. I don’t think it would have any bearing on being here week 3. This season has sorta been unlike past seasons where battle lines have been drawn early. Alliances havnt really become prevalent and/or formed as much as I expected which plays well into my game because I don’t have to pick a side. Although I think thatll all change come about week 3 or 4.
This challenge should cause some to have ill feelings towards the person who captures their flag as I assume they will take it as a personal vendetta against his or her self.
Itll be an interesting week for sure. I cant wait for the new hoh to be determined so I can start week 2 of nonstop social strategy
*on an unrelated but worthy of dr status note. Angie works a late shift so shes usually on past when everyone has went to bed. Ive used these past few days to be her pal since everyone ive talked to has basically said shes the least they have conversed with. Could be CRUUUUUUCIAL as a person I know ill have working with me.
