I think this is going to be my last post on this topic because I'm starting to think we just don't have a common language or defense mechanisms are out in full force. It's not about what you did or what Will did. It's about how you did it/ continue to do it. I talk a lot of smack when I'm a player in a game, this isn't about the act of saying offensive shit at all. You have at least ten posts on this board that if you just stopped yourself from submitting and just let it go no one would be flipping out. But for you it's not about making this go away. It's about saving some imaginary pride by trying to make Will equal parts guilty with you and Sheila. Which is done by continuing to try to convince the board that the AIDS comment isn't as bad as we're making it out to be and we're just overreacting holier than thou hypocrites, and it is also done by trying to convince us that we are missing a horrible infringement on Will's part. We've all seen this whole thing play out, no one is going to be convinced of anything. Downplaying your actions just makes you seem like a bigger dick and fussing about one of Will's posts makes you seem like a child. Stop digging holes for yourself. Hahahaha! It is like you haven't even been reading my posts at all.  I have never said that Sheson is in anyway better than or less guilty due to what Will has said. I've used the word HYPOCRITICAL and I think that it was used at least three times in a bunch of my posts. I really don't give two shits what any of you think about Sheila and I's AIDS comments. They weren't said for the light hearted and all "10 posts" (I'd like record of all the times I've made an AIDS joke, I think there was one on the WZAS board...) were made in an effort to get a fucking response from all of you. Also, I don't think I've downplayed any actions. I've stated that the jokes are mean but Will is not excusable. No one is crying outrage at his comments. The thing that would have ended this entire thing is this simple statement: "Sheila and Jason, you guys are fucked up in the head if you think that AIDS jokes are funny. People suffer every day with that disease and it is in bad taste. Will, you really should do better. You don't make yourself look better in the situation when you are doing the exact same thing that they are doing with the eating disorder jokes. Everyone should just shut the fuck up." I don't understand why you people continue to feed the trolls. |

To be a hypocrite about something involves there being some equality in the two actions.
The ten posts I'm talking about aren't ten posts where you make an AIDS joke. They are ten posts where you pretend it's not that bad, and have the audacity to try to turn it around against Will.

I've been trying to keep quiet during this whole thing because I don't want to add fuel to any fire. I mistakenly thought that me being upfront with my situation and talking honestly about my real life personal struggles might somehow shed some light on this situation, which would bring this thing to an end and create some closure. The last thing I wanted was to draw any more attention to this ugly situation.
But now I feel like I need to address a few things - First, my "anorexic" comment - Jamison once told me that him being seriously thin was an insecurity of his. Jamison does not (to my knowledge) have an eating disorder, and I should not have said that. When I posted that, I was hurt and I was just trying to find anything at all that might possibly get him to understand the way I was feeling. In my ridiculous emotional state, I ended up being insensitive to a whole group of people that are NOT Jamison, and for that, I apologize. It was an emotional reaction that was immature and stupid. That's one thing I agree with Sheila and Jason about - I should know better.
One last thing -, I cannot express how grateful I am to people like Sarah, Natalie, Rachel, and Eddie (who was especially well spoken, logical and kind - seriously, how did this guy not win last season?) for making me feel such incredible support from a situation that started out as very painful for me. Sheila wasn't lying when she said that her original comments (during All Stars) caused me to cry. I don't get how that made the whole thing even funnier for them, but whatever. I'm over it now. Seriously. I just want this subject to end and all of us to move on. There is a whole new cast of players who deserve our attention. Let's please just let this topic die. It's so last season.

Well said Eddie, everything you said was spot on and I agree 100%. Will, no problem, I had no idea that what Sheila said was true and I feel so horrible these two fucktwats made you go through that. Your strength through all of this is amazing I think I'm gonna go out to the Cancer ward at my local hospital now and laugh at the Cancer patients, seems its all the rage to make fun of people with uncurable diseases, right Jason? |

You generalized that making fun of "uncurable" (which isn't a word, btw) diseases was okay and then referenced cancer in your previous statement. Therefore your message said, "Cancer is uncurable." Which is not true most of the time if the cancer is caught earlier enough.
I read exactly what you wrote, why don't you start writing correctly?
