Memphis, as holder of the Golden Power of Veto, you have the option to use it to remove either Justin or yourself from the block. You can also choose not to use it and leave the nominations as they are.

You have until 8 PM EST tonight to post in this thread whether you wish to use the Veto or not. If you choose to remove a nominee, Rachel will have to post in this thread naming a replacement. If a replacement is needed, Rachel will have until 11 PM EST tonight to make it.

Votes will then be due Sunday night at 8 PM EST. The next HOH will be live Sunday night at 10 PM EST.[/center]

Um. I don’t know whether to be annoyed, disgusted, or confused. But moving on from that douchebag’s speech, let’s get to ending this Power of Veto Ceremony. However, before I announce my replacement, I’d like to go into detail about certain things, because yes, I’m taking this time to vent. I’m sorry if you all wanted a speedy ceremony, but that’s not how it’s going to go down. KTHXBYE.

I think I made it clear that when I won Head of Household, I wanted to flush these looming “powers”, but neither were used this week, so it was somewhat of an auto-fail? With Memphis taking himself down off the block, I’ve come to realize just how much of a gross, cocky bastard he really is. ~NEWSFLASH, Memphis. You’re in no position to pose threats until you’re in some big, power position.

Nevertheless, I’m irked that Memphis is now off the block because I honestly can’t stand him. He wants to make little threats to me, saying that an ally is gonna’ backstab me, and that he’s going to sit me out of Head of Household and Power of Veto, next week? BITCH, PLEASE. If anything Memphis, you’ll get played eventually yourself, and I honestly can’t wait for it to happen.

And oh, one more thing. Now that I know what your prize is, SABOTEUR, I don’t care if you sit me out, nullify someone’s vote, change the Veto, mess up nominations, or anything. The fact of the matter is, is that you’re not winning this game, and I’ll do everything in my power to make sure you leave this game as soon as possible. Two can play the game of intimidation, asshat.

Now, with all this supposed speculation about an ally “backstabbing me”, of ‘course I’ve taken this into consideration. Apparently someone’s been “leaking” information about my game? Okay. As much as it could very much be false, I still of ‘course have taken it into account when trying to think of my replacement .. but I assure you, it didn’t rule my decision and wasn’t the deciding factor.

I think right now, I have to make a move that could really mess up a bond and friendship I’ve made in this game, but also, it’s a strategic move on my part. Taking this person out right now would mean that a huge Jury threat and individual who could easily win this game would exit the house and end up on the Jury. I’m sorry if you’re hurt by my decision, but I have to nominate you ..

I appreciate you coming to me and talking to me about replacements, but I kind of feel that you threw some good friends of mine under the bus, and had you stayed this week and won Head of Household, you could have nominated them and they could leave the game. Ultimately, that would affect my personal game and I can't do that right now, especially with opposition showing up all over.

This stage of the game is all about keeping your allies close, and if you were to gun after some of mine, that wouldn’t really help me. Also, the overwhelming fact that you won Immunity this week in the Veto also means you’re guaranteed F7. Annie, you’re an amazing competitor, very likeable, and a huge threat for the victory, and these are all of the reasons as to why I have to nominate you.
